Blessed Hill School

My Visit and Prize Day

My visit to Blessed Hill was towards the end of my 2-month stay in Uganda and, as such, it was at the end of term when I got there. Unfortunately this meant that I didn't have much time in the school itself, but I was lucky enough to be there for the end of term prizegiving day at which I was invited to be the guest of honour. I was pleased to see that the vast majority of students there were extremely commited to their education, and many received the prize of their very own pen for doing so well.

I learned so much from my trip to Africa that it would be impossible to write it down but my overall feeling is that, while they have so much to learn from us, we also have a huge amount to learn from them.
